OYA IS HEADING TO PERTH!
WHO/WHAT/WHEN/WHERE?
This year we are welcoming back the Australian Catholic Youth Festival, which will be held in Perth from the 8th - 10th December. We invite young people from year 9 (in 2019) to young adults 30 years of age to come along and celebrate your faith with thousands of other youth from around the country! It’s a celebration of one church, made up of talks, workshops and music. ACYF also gives us an opportunity to come together to share our faith and Oblate Charism at a national level. This year OYA is heading to Perth to participate in the event as a national community. Our group will be made up of young people from Oblate parishes around Australia as well as the Oblate colleges.
THEME
The Festival will use the scriptural focus of the 2020 Plenary Council by adopting the theme:
‘Listen to what the Spirit is saying’ (Rev 2:7)
ACCOMMODATION
Thanks to Mazenod College - WA and the Oblates, we are luck enough to stay at the college in their boarding houses. The Oblates will cover the costs for the accommodation.
COST
Registration is based on geographical diocese location and includes event entry, food, accommodation and transport to and from the event each day. Registration does not include flights to Perth or spending money.
GROUP A: $350

GROUP B: $320
Archdiocese of Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra Goulburn, Melbourne, Hobart and the Diocese of Broken Bay, Bunbury and Parramatta
GROUP C: $290
Diocese of Armidale, Ballarat, Bathurst, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Geraldton, Lismore, Maitland, Newcastle, Port Pirie, Rockhamption, Sale, Sandhurst, Toowoomba, Townsville, Wagga Wagga, Wilcannia Forbes, Wollongong.
REGISTRATION
As we will be traveling as a group, Emma Rice, Group Coordinator will register as a group. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER ON THE ACYF WEBSITE!
