Congratulations tipsters!
You made it to the end of the competition! It has been an exciting year in football with many ups and downs. Some teams started strongly and finished poorly while others started slowly and finished quickly, and others still never got started at all... *cough* eagles *cough*
Congratulations to the overall winner of our competition, Adam Jacobson, who held out on a strong finishing Josh Webster to claim the top spot by only 52 points. He has been in first place for a long time and ended up holding on by just a handful.
It was an excellent year and we are happy to have had you with us. For now, enjoy the finals series, as best you can if your team like mine didn't make it, and hopefully someone beats Collingwood. Just kidding folks!

2010 Margin Tipping Rules
Receive 800 points (100 for each game) per round from the system each
week. Submit your tips before the
first game of each round and attempt to hold on to those 800
points the system has given you. It will subtract the difference
between your tip and the actual margin. You can therefore keep your 100
points for an exact tip.
When tipping a draw, select the middle button and enter a margin of 0 or else the system may get confused.
Bonuses are as follows:
- 10 points for correctly tipping the winning team.
- 50 points for correctly tipping the winning team AND margin.
- 200 bonus points for correctly tipping a draw.
- This year a new bonus of 10 points is available for the closest tip for EACH game in a round. If more than one person equally scores the closest for a game, 10 points are awarded to each player.
Tipping for each round will be open until 7pm on Friday, or 10 minutes before the first game of each round (for example Round 1 where the first game is on a Thursday). The split round (Round 12) will also be split up in tipping. The first games will be tipped the first week and the second games the second week.
Non-submission of tips will result in the assigning of the lowest score by any tipster for that round.
